Gayle, a licensed massage therapist and director of education at the Honolulu School of Massage, is a member of The American Massage Therapy Association and an associate member of "The Day-Break Geriatric Project", the only National Association for the advancement and education of geriatric massage specialists.

Besides her duties as director of education, Gayle teaches hydrotherapy, pregnancy massage and special populations as part of her professional level training at HSM. Additionally, her workshops in Shiatsu and aromatherapy are recognized throughout the state. Gayle, who has been teaching aromatherapy for 8 years, recently gained "case" approval to offer levels I and II for national certification in aromatherapy at HSM.

Besides her passion for aromatherapy and teaching, Gayle is originator and project coordinator of the "Acorn Geriatric Massage Community Outreach and Research Project", the first of its kind in Hawaii. Gayle has little time to socialize with her busy schedule, but loves to travel time allowing. Gayle has been a resident of Hawaii since 1989. Formerly from Laguna Beach, California, she is single and lives with her cat "Mae". Christmas is her favorite time of year and hopes someday Hawaii will be the destination of the NAHA Annual Conference
