Keren Dolan BA
Having fallen in love with aromatherapy in 2000 when she first discovered its benefits for psycho-emotional support, Keren was determined to pursue her passion and become an Aromatherapist.  After receiving her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Virginia, she completed over 540 hours of study through the West Coast Institute of Aromatherapy to become a professional Aromatherapist.

Her course of study at the University of Virginia stressed the scientist-practitioner training model, and Keren applies this same approach in her study and practice of aromatherapy. She has had the privilege of exploring many different facets of the art and science of essential oil blending as she has assisted clients on their journey toward healing and a better quality of life. Keren specializes in providing individual aromatherapy consultations and custom blending to support her clients’ psychological, emotional and physical health. In creating blends for her clients, she considers the whole person rather than focusing narrowly on one issue, recognizing that the body reacts as an entire organism. When sharing the benefits of aromatherapy with others, Keren stresses the importance of its safe, considerate and ethical usage. Her cautious approach is balanced, however, by an ability to think creatively in utilizing essential oils and hydrosols. She has created a line of aromatherapy products for general use through her company, Mother’s Wit Aromatherapy, LLC in Herndon, Virginia. As a mother of two toddlers, Keren tailors most of her general blends to the common issues of women and children. She welcomes opportunities to speak to groups or individuals and is always eager to contribute to the aromatherapy community. Email:
