She is a recent graduate of the American College of Healthcare Sciences, Diploma in Aromatherapy program and plans to continue her studies in the near future to obtain her CAM degree. She also holds a certificate in Iridology. She is the owner of Northern Prairie Aromatherapy and enjoys educating others about the benefits of essential oils and their applications for safe use. Karen enjoys the art and science of creating custom blends for clients who wish to pursue a healthy lifestyle through natural modalities. Karen is a Business Member of NAHA,and a Professional Member of AIA working on her Clinical membership with the AIA. Karen has been in the Emergency Medical Services field for 25 plus years as a Paramedic and currently working as a Flight Paramedic in northern Minnesota. Karen lives in a small town in northern Minnesota with her husband and son. She enjoys being outdoors, organic gardening, canning.
