POLICY
- Both Editorial group and layout manager shall be chosen by the
Board of Directors.
- Editorial group will be paid for each edited journal
- Layout manager will be paid for each journal printed
Payment, allotment to be established based upon budget with approval
of the Board of Directors, will be made upon completion of bulk
journal mailing not to exceed 25 days.
- Deadlines will be pre-established for completion by the Board
in order to assure timely delivery.
- Editorial group, Layout manager, and NAHA office administrator
will be responsible to assure advertiser satisfaction with ads
placed according to set policy.
- Office Administrator will collect advertising fees at time of
receipt, following layout manager approval of quality.
- Advertisers are required to sign the advertising contract with
full disclosure of deadlines, payment requirements, and satisfaction
policy prior to sending contact information to either Editor/Layout
Manager. See Dan Serra…
- Journal articles: Aromatherapy related issues, stories, papers,
and information; Other Natural Health modalities relating to the
Aromatherapy field in some manner (massage therapists, nurses,
acupuncture, environmental-non political only, etc…). Advertisers
to extend in the same manner: Natural health foods, goods, services.
ADVERTISING POLICY
- All advertisers shall submit their signed contract and payment
to the NAHA office, no later than specified deadline in order
to be considered for journal inclusion.
- All advertising accounts must be paid in full, via cleared check
or credit card, at time of layout preparation, NO exceptions.
Defaulted accounts will be excluded until payment has been made.
*Net 30 terms have been honored by established advertisers, however,
once they default in consecutive advertising commitments NAHA
reserves the right to no longer honor this manner of payment.
- Quarterly payments are acceptable for a contracted agreement
of four (4) separate journal advertisements within one (1) consecutive
year of Journals or four (4) individual consecutive journals.
(For example: an advertiser who begins advertising for each journal
in January of 2005 or an advertiser who begins advertising mid
or latter part of the year, with the intention of advertising
for a total of four (4) journals in all.) However if an advertiser
defaults on any payment, their contract will not be honored. Their
advertisement will be removed following a grace period of 5 days.
Advertisers shall submit their ads/artwork via disk to the NAHA office
directly to be viewed and forwarded to the Layout manager. The Layout
Manager shall then review the advertisement and contact the advertiser
in order to assure customer satisfaction and accuracy. All account
inquiries must be made directly to the office administrator. The NAHA
Advertising Representative is responsible for following up with all
advertisers, Layout, Website and customer needs in insure proper representation
of each have been honored. Advertising

NAHA office will maintain a database
of solicitation contacts tagging each media kit mailed and the Advertising
Representative will call to connect with recipient within (1) one
week of mailing in order to secure a contracted client.

AND STIPEND/ COMPENSATION POLICY

Advertisement committee volunteers:
*ALL inquiries shall be handled by NAHA office administrator only.
NAHA office staff shall mail, secure, and collect for all contracted
advertisers. Compensations on
advertisements shall be honored for the next succeeding journal
only and cannot be applied to previously purchased advertisements
in past or present journal advertisements. No monetary value will
be reimbursed. Directors who have pre-purchased advertisements shall
not receive compensation on those advertisements, however they may
apply discount compensation to any future journal paid in full and
contracted according to policy standards. Discounts may not be combined
or transferred. – Offer good only on one (1) individual journal
advertisement or four (4) consecutive journal advertisements as
contracted agreement states.
Editorial manager:
-$100.00 minimum with a maximum compensation of $100.00 will be
paid per contracted editor for each journal. Total annually $300-$400
expense. No reimbursements will be given for previously paid memberships
or NAHA orders of merchandise. Payments shall be made to contracted
editor(s) 25 days after journal has been shipped. Compensatory gifts
may be applied to future memberships, merchandise orders, conference
registrations, and journal advertising only.
Layout manager: Filled
-$100.00 per journal – no reimbursements shall be accepted/given.
In addition, $25 for e-newsletter layout paid quarterly for a sum
annual total of $100.00. Quarterly payments will be $125.00 upon
approval of editorial group and board members, requirements include
timely journal preparation and completion which shall lead to on-time
delivery.
*NAHA Board of Directors reserve the
right to cancel/discontinue employment of either contracted Editorial
group or layout manager at anytime prior to completion of contracted
four (4) journals printed. Compensation increase for services may
be increased at the sole discretion of the Board of Directors at
anytime, however a new contract must be signed whenever a change
is made. |
