Opportunities
- All contracted volunteers (Directors / Members) will receive
(50%) discount on registration.
- Conference Committee members will receive (50%) discount on
registration.
- Current Board Members (President, Vice President, Public Relations,
Secretary, Director Coordinator) will receive free entrance to
conference as well as complimentary rooms – when available.
- Conference Coordinator/Administrator will receive free entrance
to conference as well as
complimentary rooms – when available.
- Office Administrator shall receive paid airfare, room and conference
registration.

*Responsibilities / Eligibility:
Volunteers: Due to confines of budget there will be a limited number
of volunteers accepted for these compensated roles.
- All must commit to a min. of 3 hours weekly for NAHA conference
work. There will be mandatory weekly update forms to be submitted
to the conference administrator. Monthly updates will then be compiled
by conference administrator and submitted to the Board of Directors
as information and for approval. In addition there will be a required
min. of 3 hours each conference day donated to running the conference
during its entirety.
- Board members and office administrator are required to attend conferences
and shall be available to the membership on a daily basis during
the conference. Board members shall also chair the annual general
meeting. Office Administrator is responsible for assigned conference
tasks. While the majority of conference tasks of the Office Administrator
are generally completed prior to attendance, there are additional
office and set up tasks required.
Board members will serve as support staff to our volunteers and
Office Administrator.
All volunteers will sign a contract of commitment which will also
indicate their appropriate compensations. The Board of Directors
reserves the right to refuse compensation to any volunteer based
on performance and commitment. Evaluations will be made by the Conference
Administrator/Coordinator and reported to the Board as issues arise.
Volunteer schedules will be set up in order to allow each volunteer
role, from Board member – member volunteer, to attend and
appreciate the conference to the fullest benefit outside of their
commitment of time. Appropriate changes to schedules and restrictions
from registration tables to bookstores will be made in order to
facilitate this plan.
*All discounts are non-transferable and may be denied at the discretion
of the board prior to conference date due to inactivity of contracted
volunteer. Reimbursement of pre-approved expenses will be considered
by the Board of Directors.

All NAHA Directors and members will be expected to solicit PR for
conference at the direction of the PR Board member, with assistance
from the office administrator. This includes securing sponsorships
