The Institute of Spiritual Healing & Aromatherapy, Inc.  offers a 300 hour course in clinical aromatherapy which meets Level I and Level II requirements for certification in clinical aromatherapy. We are approved as a provider of continuing education for nurses and massage therapists.  Our curriculum presents both the British and French models of aromatherapy and includes three courses, 6 teleseminars, required reading, completion of homework packets, a research project and a research paper, and two written exams.  Our unique program teaches physics (vibrational frequencies) and organic chemistry of 70 essential oils, anatomy and physiology, botany, olfaction, toxicity and safety, carrier oils, essential oil blending, legal and ethical issues, research, and professional and business issues of an aromatherapy practice. We integrate energetic principles with aromatherapy to present a truly holistic approach to the study of essential oils. The curriculum meets all the NAHA standards and prepares students to take the ARC exam. Our faculty are all certified aromatherapists and certified energy practitioners and instructors.
