Geranium oil combines the tonifying effect of Monoterpene Alcohols with the soothing influence of Esters.  Individuals with different conditions and constitutions will perceive it according to their need whether this be antiseptic, calminative, or stimulant.  The anti-inflammatory nature of the Monoterpene Alcohols and Aldehydes contribute to its overall Yin character, especially reinforced by the unusually wide variety of Monoterpene Alcohols.  The Ketones account for the capacity of Geranium to regenerate the tissues (including the skin) and Disinhibit Damp in the urogenital system.
